Works with TTLock: manage TTLock‑based locks across all your buildings
Vega ACMS works with any smart lock that runs on the TTLock platform, connected through a TTLock gateway (G2, G3 or G3P). Keep the locks you have — and get the multi-building management, roles, cards and audit log that the TTLock app alone wasn’t built for.
One platform, many lock brands
TTLock is a smart lock platform: the electronics and app that many manufacturers build their locks on. The lock in your hand may carry a different brand name, but inside it runs TTLock — and is set up with the TTLock app.
That’s what makes Vega ACMS TTLock compatible across brands: we work with the platform, not with one manufacturer. Deadbolts, lever locks, mortise locks, glass-door locks and gate controllers built on TTLock can all live in the same panel.
We don’t list manufacturers as partners, and we don’t claim any official partnership. Compatibility is simple and factual: if it runs on TTLock, ACMS can manage it.
Typical TTLock credentials
- Cards & key fobs — with start and end dates
- Phone stickers — an NFC tag on the back of a phone
- PIN codes — permanent or time-limited
- Fingerprints — on models with a reader
- Phone app — over Bluetooth
Available credentials depend on the lock model.
How to check if your lock is TTLock‑based
Takes two minutes. You only need the lock (or its manual) and a phone.
Look at the manual or the box
A TTLock-based lock tells you to download the TTLock app to set it up. Some brands mention “TTLock” or show its logo on the packaging.
Try to add it in the TTLock app
Install the TTLock app, wake the lock by touching its keypad, and tap “Add lock”. If the app finds and pairs with it, the lock is TTLock-based.
Already installed? Check who manages it
If your locks are already in a TTLock account, they can be imported into ACMS. Locks held in someone else’s account (an installer or previous manager) can be transferred or reset — we walk you through it.
Still not sure?
Send us the model name and a photo. We’ll tell you whether it works and what else you need.
TTLock gateways G2, G3 and G3P: what you need
Locks talk Bluetooth. A gateway (French: passerelle TTLock) bridges nearby locks to the internet so you can manage them remotely. Remote unlock, live entry logs, instant card blocking and battery alerts all need one.
| Gateway | Connection | Power | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| G2 | Wi-Fi | Plug-in power supply | A few doors where running a network cable isn’t possible |
| G3 / G3P Recommended | Wired Ethernet | PoE — power over the same network cable | Apartment, condo and office buildings: one cable, no Wi-Fi dropouts, easy to back up with a UPS |
How many gateways?
Usually one or more per floor or corridor, depending on walls, distances and the number of doors. Placement is checked during a site survey.
Network
Gateways only need outgoing internet. A separate IoT network (VLAN) and a UPS on the PoE switch keep doors online through power blips.
Without a gateway
Locks still open with the cards, codes and fingerprints they store. But every change has to be made on site with a phone — fine for one door, not for a building.
The TTLock app alternative for property managers
The TTLock app is made for an owner and a handful of doors. ACMS adds what you need to run buildings — while your locks stay exactly as they are.
| What you need | TTLock app on its own | With Vega ACMS |
|---|---|---|
| Multiple buildings | A flat list of locks | Buildings → floors → units → doors, plus common areas, on a map |
| Team roles | Authorized admins added lock by lock | Company admin, building managers, technicians — each limited to their buildings |
| Audit | Unlock records, lock by lock | Every entry and every admin action across the portfolio, searchable |
| Residents | eKeys shared one person at a time | Resident list per unit, app invites by email, move-in and move-out dates |
| Cards & fobs | Added lock by lock | One card for all the doors it should open, start/end dates, lost and broken status with history |
| Maintenance | Battery level when you look | Low-battery alerts to your technician, battery and repair log per lock |
| Security | App account | Two-factor sign-in, login history, data hosted in Canada |
| Billing | — | One subscription for the whole portfolio, with a support level to match |

From TTLock app to ACMS in four steps
Your TTLock account
We create a TTLock account for your company, or you connect the one you already use.
Pair locks and gateways
Your installer pairs the locks and G3P gateways in the TTLock app under that account and links each lock to its gateway.
Import into ACMS
Locks and gateways are imported and placed on the right building, floor and unit — in bulk for larger sites.
Issue access
Create access groups, issue cards and fobs to residents and staff, and invite residents to the app. Done.
Compatibility questions
How do I know if my lock is TTLock‑based?
Check the manual or the box: a TTLock-based lock tells you to install the TTLock app to set it up. If you can add the lock in the TTLock app, it is TTLock-based. Not sure? Send us the model and a photo and we’ll tell you.
Do I need a gateway?
Yes, for anything remote. A TTLock gateway connects nearby locks (over Bluetooth) to the internet: G2 uses Wi-Fi, G3 uses wired Ethernet and G3P is the wired version powered over Ethernet (PoE). For apartment and office buildings we recommend wired G3P gateways — one or more per floor, depending on the layout.
Without a gateway, locks still open with cards and codes, but every change needs someone on site with a phone.
What happens if the internet or power goes down?
Doors keep working. The locks run on batteries and store their credentials, so cards, fobs, PIN codes and fingerprints already loaded keep opening the door with no internet.
What waits for the connection to return: remote unlock, live entry logs and new changes. Entry records sync once the gateway is back online. If you must block a card during an outage, a technician can apply it on site over Bluetooth. Tip: put the gateway PoE switch on a UPS.
We use metal keys and old fobs today. How do we switch?
Building by building. Locks and gateways are installed, imported into ACMS, and new cards or fobs are issued with a start date that matches the switch-over day. Whether your existing fobs can be reused depends on the card technology — we check that with you before you buy anything.
